Review: Rimmel London's Stay Matte Primer

After recently getting my new job I went and did a drugstore haul where I bought Rimmel London's Stay Matte Primer. At first I quite liked it; using regularly when applying make-up but overtime I noticed that it was no good for my pores. I noticed that it was no good for my skin at all, with it clogging up my pores it brought me out in a tonne of spots, not only that but it did feel a little heavy on my skin. Not a nice feeling of your face being caked full of products I must say!

On the other hand, it definitely did keep all my make-up in place and made it apply smoothly on my face, so instead of throwing it away I use this primer for my eyes when applying eye shadow, as it keeps it in place.

Personally I won't be buying this product again but that is only my view, for others this primer may work well for them. However, for me it does not work well for my skin especially with it clogging up my pores and bringing me out in spots.

Tell me your thoughts on this primer and if you have any other suggestions on primers I should try comment below :)

P.S. sorry about the weird facial expression and me not wearing any makeup xo

Bold Red Lips

Autumn/winter lipsticks trend is all about the berry toned lipsticks as well as the more darker deeper toned lipsticks, however the one lipstick that is very much an essential lipstick to have in your make-up bag is the red lipstick! Yes, the red lip can be used to add a pop of colour to your make-up and outfit as well as becoming part of a sexy look and style.

I have bought red lipsticks before but the ones I did buy I personally thought they were too bright for my skin tone (or could be the fact I'm not used to seeing myself wearing red lipstick) so I thought I would try a more deeper toned red lipstick with a darker undertone to it. The one I did but was Rimmel London's Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss collection, number 107. A matte red lipstick.

At first when I tried I thought it was too dark but the more I tried it on and wore it I became very used to it and has become one of my new favourite lipsticks, as it's a matte lipstick it lasted on my lips much longer and didn't dry my lips out as much as what I thought it would. I always ensure I exfoliate my lips, moisturise my lips before I apply the lipstick. Just to add a little moisture to my lips when applying matte lipsticks because some do dry out your lips.

I definitely feel that this is a great lipstick for autumn/winter and a definite great lipstick for a night out to add a little spice to your make-up and outfit, a great lipstick for all occasions.

P.S. if you have no lip liner apply either foundation or concealer to your lips and first line your lips with the lipstick, to make sure you don't go out of the lip line when applying your lipstick. The foundation and concealer will help your lipstick last longer throughout the day.

Joshua James Jewellery

Heya lovelies. I was lucky enough to be able to work with Joshua James Jewellery again and received another gorgeous bracelet. Where I also received a stunning charm to go with it! I would like to say a huge thank you to Joshua James Jewellery for the lovely gift and for letting me work with you again, I appreciate it!

The bracelet I received was by a new Brand that Joshua James have, called 'Endless' and is part of their 'Christiana Collection.' This is a single white leather bracelet but you can get these in many different colours; and in single leather and double leather. Giving you lots to choose from! With this being a leather charm bracelet it makes it different and before I wouldn't of personally have thought of buying a leather charm bracelet. However, now that I have seen it close up I actually quite like the idea and it is growing on me every time I wear it.

I was so happy to receive a charm with this bracelet too as it gives a slight feel of what the bracelet would look like fully charmed. The charm is called 'Silver Heart Beat' and consists of three big hearts and then is made up of tiny detailed smaller hearts, making me love the gorgeous detailing of this charm. I am definitely going to buy and add more charms to this bracelet and style it my own way with other gorgeous charms from the collection.

Leopard Collection

Todays post is about two cute bracelets which I received from Leopard Collection and I would like to say thank you for these lovely gifts.

The bracelet that I absolutely love and thought was a lovely touch when I received these items was the bracelet which was personalised specifically for me. It turned out to be a nice surprise for me when I opened my parcel. This bracelet says 'Chantz' and I thought this was cute because this is what most people who know me, call me. Instead of Chantelle.

The other bracelet I received was a sunflower bracelet and this I would definitely be able to wear with so many clothes because it is a simple silver bracelet which will go with practically anything. It is very cute and girly.

Make sure you give Leopard Collection a follow on Instagram @leopardcollectionx and check out their website https://www.etsy.com/shop/leopardcollectionx to check out their cute, affordable, bright and quirky pieces of jewellery. They will be great presents for friends and items for you to treat yourself because if I am right, all items are under £5!!
