Autumn/winter lipsticks trend is all about the berry toned lipsticks as well as the more darker deeper toned lipsticks, however the one lipstick that is very much an essential lipstick to have in your make-up bag is the red lipstick! Yes, the red lip can be used to add a pop of colour to your make-up and outfit as well as becoming part of a sexy look and style.
I have bought red lipsticks before but the ones I did buy I personally thought they were too bright for my skin tone (or could be the fact I'm not used to seeing myself wearing red lipstick) so I thought I would try a more deeper toned red lipstick with a darker undertone to it. The one I did but was Rimmel London's Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss collection, number 107. A matte red lipstick.
At first when I tried I thought it was too dark but the more I tried it on and wore it I became very used to it and has become one of my new favourite lipsticks, as it's a matte lipstick it lasted on my lips much longer and didn't dry my lips out as much as what I thought it would. I always ensure I exfoliate my lips, moisturise my lips before I apply the lipstick. Just to add a little moisture to my lips when applying matte lipsticks because some do dry out your lips.
I definitely feel that this is a great lipstick for autumn/winter and a definite great lipstick for a night out to add a little spice to your make-up and outfit, a great lipstick for all occasions.

P.S. if you have no lip liner apply either foundation or concealer to your lips and first line your lips with the lipstick, to make sure you don't go out of the lip line when applying your lipstick. The foundation and concealer will help your lipstick last longer throughout the day.
