It's a Pug's Life

Unfortunately I have not been able to blog recently due to my laptop having a virus and I still haven't managed to get it fixed. So I've taken to doing it on my phone, which I will have to see how everything turns out. It may be good or bad, I can't knock it till I've tried it I guess!

This post has nothing to do with beauty or fashion but it is definitely something I would love to share with my readers. I have now for months have been saving up for a pug dog. I'm not getting one as fashion statement or anything like that but due to it's loving and playful nature and for them being a lovely family pet. This is due to last year my four year old brother was bit on the face by our pet dog, that we had not long rehomed. I'm hoping that when bringing home my new pug puppy and with the training that we will give him my little brother will see that not all dogs are like that and they are loving and are part of the family.

With what he's been through he still loves and plays with my Nannas dog and he came with me to view our little pug puppy. All he kept wanting to do is to keep holding him and stroke his mum and grandad, which I think is a good sign.

I hope with what he's been through getting our little pug boy will change his mind over dogs, I'm not going to say that he will never stop being wary and a little frightened of big dogs but I'm hoping with smaller dogs he will become less frightened.

If you already follow me on Instagram and Twitter you will have seen me put up a picture of our little pug boy that we will be getting and his name is Ozzy. I'm going to collect him on the 29th of this month, which is in 9 days time. I'm extremely excited and can't wait! Even my little brother keeps asking  when is he coming home. So here is a picture for you guys to see.

What I'm Wearing

Now that I am working I am able to afford to buy many clothes and try out different styles and colours of clothes. I have now become more daring and starting to try to wear different patterns and shades of clothes, some items may not suit me but it's just trial and error.

I don't particularly buy expensive items, only things I'm sure that everyone would be able to afford. As you have seen in my last post about the stunning gold detailed ankle boots I bought from www.linzi.com is part of today's outfit which I'm glad I bought as it goes with what I'm wearing well.

The other two items are a grey cowl neck sleeveless dress from www.misspap.co.uk and a monochrome dogtooth coat from www.fiercedesigns.co.uk. This dress is perfect enough to wear out in this cold weather as it keeps you quite warm, as it's made out of thick wool material so it will definitely be worn many more times.

The monochrome dogtooth coat is dead on trend at the moment and goes extremely well with dress and ankle boots. The detailing is perfect and is great for this weather as it keeps you warm too; and you will be stylish wearing this out!

My Latest Buy

I've been wanting a new pair of heeled ankle boots for a while now, with the heel not being too high so I am able to wear them daily; not only this I wanted boots which would last me a while and that I could wear with most of my outfits.

I came across these boots by looking around online at clothes, shoes and bags and came across http://www.linzi.com/ and this is where I found them at such an affordable price of £35! I've always wanted a pair of shoes with the metal gold heel insert as I knew they have been on trend for a while; I just really loved the detailing of these boots.

With the metallic gold detailing of these heels and gold detailing on the tassels, I would be able to style these up to wear with an outfit for a night out; and this will add a stylish touch to what I'm wearing. These are definitely going to become my new favourites, I will want to wear them all the time.

MISSPAP Paisley Print Playsuit

After using Instagram quite a lot, I have come across new online clothing stores and one of them is MISSPAP. I have been following them for months and have frequently been looking on their website at their range of clothes, with many of them being on trend and gorgeous.

They tend to do a lot of competitions for their followers to win items of clothing and this is usually done with amazing fashion bloggers such as Nicky Houghton; her style is so fab and boho. This paisley playsuit I won was a competition hosted by MISSPAP and Nicky Houghton I was so happy when I won this as I just LOVE the print.

I must say this is the first item of clothing that I own that is a paisley print and it definitely now has become one of my favourite, the colours, the style just makes the whole playsuit. Best of all its unique as I haven't seen one like this around yet on any other website and this is what I like. I will definitely be buying more items of clothing with paisley print on as it is so cute and different.

Make sure you check out MISSPAPs website here http://www.misspap.co.uk/ where you can buy this playsuit and give them a follow on Instagram @misspap and Twitter @misspapcouk.

Gosh Night Kiss Velvet Touch Lipstick

Heya lovelies. Happy New Year! Recently I have been brave and have been trying out a lot of new and bold lipsticks. I wanted to try out more of a dark berry toned lipstick and that is when I came across GOSH 170 Night Kiss Velvet Touch lipstick and thought it would not appear to dark on me.

It feels smooth when applying to your lips and doesn't feel dry at all, it keeps your lips feeling moist. Amazingly it lasts for quite a while too and a lot longer than what I thought it would and it is a definite go to colour for autumn/winter as it is on trend.

This was the first GOSH product that I have ever bought and to be honest and was quite pleased wit it, I will have to try out their other products to see what they are like.

Missguided OOTD

Heya lovelies, hope you are all good! Today's ootd is all bought from Missguided and to be honest I am starting to buy quite a lot from Missguided recently as I do like a lot of their items, especially as it is all on trend.

This outfit is something simple, it can be an outfit for the daytime as it has a casual vibe about it but can make a unique look for the night time. This can be done by adding a stunning pair of blocked heels and wearing some stunning pieces of jewellery to bling it up a bit. To pull it all together add a nice clutch bag.

Vichy Skincare

Heya lovelies, sorry for not posting as much lately I've been so busy with work and buying Christmas presents I just haven't had the time. Hope you're all ok!

Recently I was told to try out skincare products by Vichy due to my skin getting easily irritated as it is really sensitive, and loads of products brought my skin out in a tonne of spots. Vichy as far as I know you can only buy from Boots stores in the UK, I still haven't managed to find it anywhere else. Its a little more on the pricier side but I really do believe that it is well worth the money.

The first Vichy product that I have been using the longest is the Purete Thermale One Step Cleanser which costs £11.00. I truly think that it is well worth the money as it acts as a make-up remover, a toner and cleanser; so three products in one what more do you want? I have noticed that it has quickly got rid of most of impurities from my skin and it makes the skin soft and feeling refreshed. As my skin is very sensitive it has not even irritated my skin like other products have done, very suitable for people with extremely sensitive skin.

The other Vichy product I Have been using for a few weeks now is the Normaderm Hyaluspot Cream which costs £10.50. This product is for imperfection prone skin and is a gel that is directly put onto your spots and acts like an anti-bacterial barrier. I noticed more by the second night it starting to work, with the redness of spots disappearing and within a few days the spots disappeared. Using this product hasn't dried up the skin by the spots, which I was really surprised by because I thought this would more than likely happen. The other great thing is that you're able to wear foundation over the top and it doesn't disturb the gel covering your spots, that is a definite bonus.

I use both these products together as they work extremely well and in the future I will try out other Vichy products to see if they work as well as these do, they may seem a little expensive at first but when trying them I do believe that they are well worth the money!
